Discworld
The Discworld is a fictional world based
on a flat, circulas world, that is carried on the back of four elephants, which stand on the back of a huge star-turtle.
It contains the total of 41 books, divided into 10 sub-series, mostly based on who is the main character:
- Rincewind: Series with which the series started, starring Rincewind, a magician, who failed at the Unseen University as the main character.
- Witches: A series in which three Witches of Lancre.2 The series stars the witches Esme Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg and Magrat Garlick as the main characters.
- Death: Except 2 novels, the Death appears in every Discworld novel. The fourth book Mort is the first, which has the Death as the main character. Death's voice is represented by Small caps to represent his "voice", because Death doesn't have vocal chords (Because he is a skeleton) and the voice just enters the persons head.
- Djelibeybi: This sub-series contains only one book - the novel Pyramids. Whe main character is Teppic, whom is the main character of the tiny Djelibeybi kingdom.
- City Watch: In this series Ankh-Morpork City Watch - the police force of the city Ankh-Morpork - solve mysterious crimes under the lead of the Watch Commander Sam Vimes.
- Industrial Revolution3: Three individual books,
that revolve around industry, invention and are otherwise simmilar to what happened during the Industrial Revolution on the Earth.
- In the book Moving Pictures, the Alchemists of Discworld invent moving pictures and thereby the movie industry, about which is the novel.
- The Truth is about how in the city of Ankh-Morpork dwarves establish printing business, creating The Ankh-Morpork Times, using moveable type, an technology until now outlawed in the city, due to the negative consequences when it's used for magical texts.
- Monstrous Regiment takes place in Borogravia, a belligerent country, which is highly conservative and professes faith in their favourite deity Nuggan. In this religion there is a long frequently updated list of banned things, which bans things such as shirts with six buttons, smell of beets, cats, people with ginger hair and much more. The plot revolves around Polly a woman, who tries to resolve issues within her family and with some property, but has to dress up as man (because under Nuggan women can't own any property) and enlists in the army, both of which are also banned by Nuggan.
- Omnia: The book Small Gods is an individual story about a theocracy Omnia, which is based on the Seven Books of the Prophets of Om. While the Discworld is flat and is orbitted by the sun, the Omnian doctrine says, that it is a sphere and orbits the sun
- Überwald: The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents is an individual novel and the first written for children. In the book Amazing Maurice, a group of rats the Clan and a human boy Keith try to rob the town of Bad Blintz. The rats find the business immoral and convince Maurice, that this is the last town they rob. They find that the town has food disappearance problems and instead help the mayor.
- Tiffany Aching: Tiffany Aching is a witch, which grows from nine years old to her late teens during the series.
- Moist von Lipwig: A "reformed con-man" Moist von Lipwig, about whom it very little known about. He comes from Überwald, from the town of Lipwig. He uses the fact, that he has no notable traits and is thereby easily forgettable to take advantage of people.
The Long Earth

Baxter.
The Long Earth is a 5-book series, in
which scientists have found out, how to travel to different parallel earths. Through "Stepping" people are able to visit earths "Eeast" and
"West" of "Datum Earth" (The original Earth). The farther you travel from Datum Earth, the more different the content on the planet will
be. The books tell the story of Joshua Valienté, the main protagonist, who is travelling (Stepping) on his airship called Mark
Twain.
The different sequels talk about what happens in the future, when Stepping is more prevalent and people have colonized more earths.
